Aventura's sliding doors hang in the sky — balcony sliders stacked across the country-club towers and Waterways buildings, every one catching bay-borne salt that seizes standard rollers years ahead of schedule. Tower work is our Aventura specialty: COI filed with management before arrival, elevator time reserved, clean in-unit repairs, and marine-grade stainless hardware as the only spec we'll stand behind at altitude. For associations, our coordinated building programs fix a tower's doors floor by floor — once, properly, at a price known in advance.
Signs your sliding door needs repair
- The door takes two hands (or a shoulder) to open or close
- It grinds, scrapes, or screeches along the track
- The door jumps, wobbles, or catches at the same spot every time
- You can see daylight, or feel warm air leaking, around the closed panel
- The latch no longer lines up, so the door won't lock securely
What a repair visit includes
- Full diagnosis of rollers, track, alignment, lock and weatherstripping — not just the symptom you called about
- Removal of the panel and replacement of worn rollers where needed
- Track cleaning, dressing, or stainless-steel capping for pitted rails
- Realignment and height adjustment so the panel sits square and latches cleanly
- Lubrication with the correct silicone products — never grease, which traps sand
