Palm Beach County
Palm Beach County is home ground for us — PSL Windows & Doors Repair is based in west Boca Raton, and our technicians spend every day on the county's doors, from Jupiter's coastal communities down through West Palm Beach, Delray and home again. The county's housing stock is a study in contrasts: Mediterranean estates with twenty-foot glass walls, golf and country-club communities built in waves from the 1970s onward, beachfront condos where every balcony has a slider facing the Atlantic, and equestrian properties out west in Wellington.
Broward County
Broward County may be the most sliding-door-intensive place in America. Fort Lauderdale alone — the "Venice of America" — has hundreds of miles of canal frontage, and nearly every waterfront home opens to its dock through walls of sliding glass. Add the beachfront towers from Pompano to Hollywood, the mid-century neighborhoods east of US-1, and the vast planned communities west toward the Everglades, and you have a county with millions of door panels, most of them working against humidity, salt and time.
Miami-Dade County
Miami-Dade doors live vertically. More than anywhere else we serve, this county's sliding glass lives in condominiums — balcony sliders stacked forty stories high along Brickell and the bays, every one of them catching salt-laden wind that ages hardware years faster than the same door inland. On the ground, the county runs from Key Biscayne's island homes through Miami's historic neighborhoods to Hialeah's tight-knit blocks of concrete-block houses with their original 1960s and 70s sliders still on duty.
